The cabins were well equipped with everything we needed, including kitchen essentials, linens, and comfortable beds. The resort was located right on the lake, offering beautiful views and the opportunity for fishing. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.
There were a few limitations, such as the lack of a bathroom attached to the cabin and the outdated beds that lacked support. Additionally, the limited dining options in the area, especially during weekdays, made it challenging to find restaurants.

Our first time staying at Barney's Resort was a great experience. The resort is situated in a beautiful location by Puntzi lake. The grounds and facilities were well-maintained, and the cabins were clean and spacious. The hostess, Shannon, was friendly and accommodating. The kitchen in the cabin was well-equipped for cooking, and the coffee and tea provided were a nice touch. Despite the rustic feel, the cabin had modern amenities like an electric fireplace. The resort offered plenty of space for outdoor activities, including fishing and relaxing by the lake. we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider staying again.
No fans in the rooms, and having one in the common area would have been helpful. Wi-Fi was only available in the office or in one of the larger cabins.

The cabins were spacious and had a well-equipped kitchen. the view from the cabins was breathtaking and provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. the staff were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful advice and making us feel welcome.
The lack of a bathroom attached to the cabin was inconvenient. We had to use the wash building, which was clean but not as convenient as having a bathroom in the cabin.

The value for money at this lakeside resort was excellent, and the cabin we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The location was beautiful, with ample space for kids to play and stunning views of the lake. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and provided helpful advice for exploring the area.
The breakfast option could be improved by adding more variety and options.
